Love, breakup, betrayal are the current flavor on small screen. It seems people have no qualms discussing their relationship issues and sometimes even washing their dirty linen in public. Now a days reality shows is based on relationships.
Most of the Indian reality shows its basically inspired from international formats for example – Emotional Atyachar, Axe Ur Ex, Date Trap, Love Lockup, Splitsvilla, Superstud – The School of Flirt, Date My Folks, Adam Vs Madam, Perfect Couple, Beauty and the Geek and Love Kiya Toh Darna Kya.
Clashes and conflicts make for a good reality show. It is only because of popular demand that these shows are picking up.
There are different segments for different kinds of people. There are some shows that are made only for youth and there are some only for homemakers. So it depends on the maker to decide his target audience.
